About Cabify
What is Cabify?
Cabify is a Spanish urban-mobility platform. Most of its careers content is published in Spanish, and it describes itself this way: "En Cabify buscamos transformar las ciudades para mejorar la vida de las personas. Somos una plataforma tecnológica de movilidad que conecta a usuarios particulares y empresas con las formas de transporte que mejor se adaptan a sus necesidades" — "At Cabify we want to transform cities to improve people's lives. We are a mobility technology platform connecting individual users and companies with the forms of transport that best suit their needs." The English careers site puts the same idea more briefly: "help us make cities better places to live". Postings add the history: "Fundada en 2011, nos hemos convertido en el primer 'unicornio' español. Nuestra sede central está en Madrid" — "Founded in 2011, we have become the first Spanish unicorn. Our head office is in Madrid." Beyond ride-hailing, Cabify Logistics runs the parcel and last-mile delivery business.
Where will I work?
The careers site lists offices in Barcelona, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Ciudad de México, Córdoba, Lima, Madrid, Mendoza, Montevideo, Quito, Santiago de Chile, Sevilla and Valencia, so hiring is split between Spain and Latin America. The working model is set per role and per market. A Madrid product posting describes "a hybrid working model, with 3 days a week from our Madrid office and 2 days working remotely. On top of that, we offer 6 weeks a year to work fully remotely, split into 3 weeks per semester." Others simply advertise "Modelo híbrido" (hybrid model), while some Latin American operations roles are "Modalidad presencial" — fully on-site. The careers site is candid about the bias, wanting you "thriving in the energy, real-time collaboration, and strong connection of our in-person office culture."
What is the Cabify team like?
Mission-led and, by its own description, still start-up flavoured: "no importa lo rápido que crezcamos o lo grande que nos volvamos, queremos mantener nuestro espíritu 'start-up'" — "no matter how fast we grow or how big we become, we want to keep our start-up spirit." The English careers page frames the team as "a diverse and talented team where collaboration and mutual support are the keys to our success. Here, every voice matters, and every idea is valued." A standing Diversity Committee runs the inclusion programme, and Cabify ring-fences some openings for candidates holding a 33% disability certificate. Offices lean sociable: regular team events, free coffee and fresh fruit, and a pet room so you can bring your dog in.
Work-Life Balance
The headline policy is the Recharge Day: "Recharge Day: 3er viernes del mes libre para recargar pilas (cubre 10 meses del año)" — "the third Friday of the month off to recharge, covering 10 months of the year." English-language postings render the same benefit as "Recharge Days (10 extra Fridays off per year)." Hours are flexible on top of that: "margen flexible en la hora de entrada y salida para que te organices a tu ritmo" — "a flexible window on start and finish times so you can organise at your own pace." Holiday allowance is published per market rather than globally, and Argentine postings add "Cabify days: una semana extra de vacaciones", an extra week of holiday. No Cabify source describes a company-wide four-day or 32-hour week.
