About Ecare
What is Ecare?
Ecare ("Ecare voor de zorg") is a Dutch health-tech company that builds software for the care sector. Founded in 2007 and based in Enschede, it develops platforms for networked/integrated care ("netwerkzorg") and mental healthcare (GGZ) — connecting care providers and supporting care coordination, registration and administration so professionals can spend more time on care and less on paperwork.
Where will I work?
Ecare is based in Enschede (Overijssel), in the east of the Netherlands, with hybrid working (most roles are advertised as hybrid or on-site).
What is the Ecare team like?
Around 140 people, with a strong engineering core — .NET/Azure, full-stack and AI software engineers, plus product owners, network-care specialists and business development.
Work-Life Balance
Ecare runs a company-wide 4-day week: a full-time week is 32 hours with Fridays off ("vierdaagse werkweek", "32 uur per week", "vrijdag vrij"), at full salary — the policy appears consistently across its vacancies, for engineering and commercial roles alike.
