About City of Corona
What is the City of Corona?
The City of Corona is the municipal government of Corona, California — a Riverside County city of about 157,000 in the northwestern corner of the county, bordering both Orange and San Bernardino counties. Incorporated in 1896, it earned the nickname "Circle City" from the unique one-mile-diameter Grand Boulevard that circles the old town center, and its citrus-colony past once made it the "Lemon Capital of the World". Today it hosts the headquarters of Monster Beverage, Fender's US operations and Custom Shop (955 local employees), Circle K, Saleen and TCL's US arm. The city government itself is one of the largest employers in town at 961 staff, running its own Police Department, Fire Department, and the Corona Department of Water and Power — citywide water plus electric service for part of the city.
Where will I work?
Corona City Hall at 400 S. Vicentia Ave. The 4/10 is structural: the city's own footer reads "City Hall is open Monday - Thursday 7 AM - 6 PM. Closed Friday." — and its job bulletins corroborate it from the employee side: "Workdays of supervising city staff are Monday thru Thursday, 7am to 6pm."
What is the City of Corona team like?
A full-service municipal workforce of 961 across utilities, planning, finance, community services and public safety support. Recent civilian postings include an Accounting Manager, a Planning & Development Director and a Community Services Program Coordinator. We list the city's civilian professional roles; sworn safety and field-trades positions run their own duty rosters and are excluded from our feed.
