About Tulip Interfaces
What is Tulip Interfaces?
Tulip is the frontline operations platform — no-code apps, edge connectivity and AI ("frontline copilots") that digitize the work of factory operators, lab technicians and warehouse teams. Started by a team of engineers out of the MIT Media Lab in 2012, Tulip's 43,000 apps now power the work of 60,000 frontline workers across 1,000 customer sites in 45 countries. In January 2026 it closed a $120M Series D led by Mitsubishi Electric at a $1.3 billion valuation ($290.9M raised in total).

How we verified this listing
Sixty-three of seventy-six live job descriptions carried "Flexible work schedule and unlimited vacation policy" when we listed Tulip, and its careers page states the same pairing — policy language consistent from Somerville to Budapest to Tokyo. We confirmed the company's identity carefully (there is an unrelated retail-tech firm with a similar name): this is the MIT Media Lab spinout at tulip.co, fresh off a $120M Series D led by Mitsubishi Electric at a $1.3B valuation, whose no-code apps run frontline work at a thousand customer sites in forty-five countries. Employee-led communities and a Built In Boston Top Workplace nod round out the written record; review-site ratings were unreachable at add time.
