About Naked Wines
Who we are
Born in the UK in 2008, Naked Wines connects wine lovers (our "Angels") directly with independent winemakers to bring world-class wine at fair prices. We invest in talented winemakers so they can make their best wines, then deliver those bottles straight to customers without the usual markups. By 2012 we launched in the US and Australia, and today we connect 867,000+ Angels to 670 winemakers across 24 countries. Rated 4.6/5 by customers, we back every order with a hassle-free credit-back guarantee.
Our innovative model cuts out traditional retail intermediaries, allowing us to pass significant savings directly to our customers while giving winemakers the stability and support they need to focus on their craft. This direct relationship creates a virtuous cycle: better wine, fairer prices, and sustainable livelihoods for independent producers.
Our team
We're a passionate, growing team of 240+ people based mainly in Norwich and London, with colleagues also in Sonoma and Denver (USA) and Manly (Australia). You'll find us collaborating in creative offices with space to focus, connect and celebrate—complete with a fully stocked bar and a pool table. We're hybrid and flexible, value transparency, and love learning on the job. You'll meet winemakers at our annual UK Tasting Tour and work with friendly Wine Advisors and Customer Happiness pros who keep our community thriving.
Our culture is built on authenticity and collaboration. We believe the best work happens when people feel valued, supported, and excited about what they're building together. Whether you're problem-solving with colleagues across continents or celebrating wins over a glass of wine on Friday afternoon, you'll find a team that genuinely cares about both the work and each other.
Our values and mission
- Back independent winemakers: give them the funding and freedom to create exceptional wines.
- Put customers first: deliver quality without the stuffiness, with a credit-back guarantee.
- Keep it fair and transparent: insider prices that can save up to a third vs. elsewhere.
- Community and impact: volunteer time, support chosen charities, and act responsibly.
- Learn openly: share goals, wins and lessons to improve how we work and what we ship.
