Founded in 2011 by Jindou Lee and Andrew Mackenzie-Ross in Adelaide, Australia, the company relocated to the United States in 2012. HappyCo builds mobile and cloud-based software that helps property managers, asset managers, lenders, and investors improve efficiency, resident satisfaction, and risk reduction.
The platform manages over 1.5 million units and supports more than 3.5 million rental homes. Key products include Happy Inspector for property inspections, Happy Asset for asset management, and Happy Property for onsite management, plus AI-powered tools for maintenance and leasing.
