About Gungho
What is Gungho?
Gungho is a UK-based business-to-business marketing agency specialising in demand generation for the global Risk, Governance and Compliance (RegTech) technology sector. The company "connects GRC technology vendors with the buyers that matter," running outbound, multilingual lead-generation programmes for international risk and compliance vendors across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. Headquarters are in Poundbury, near Dorchester, Dorset, with a growing second office in Bournemouth.
The agency runs a unique, proprietary database of 800,000+ risk and compliance decision-makers, exclusively populated and constantly cleansed for client outreach. Gungho says it has generated "over £1bn in pipelined revenue for clients" through its proven appointment-setting and email-marketing services. Customer case studies include LexisNexis (whose Senior Director of International Marketing reported "approximately double the amount of appointments" versus internal SDRs), Nasdaq Verafin, Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, and the recently Corlytics-acquired Clausematch.
Where will I work?
Gungho operates across two UK offices: the Poundbury HQ (Bridport Road, Dorchester) and a Bournemouth office that has been expanding rapidly. Most operational roles work on-site or hybrid; remote work is offered as part of the four-day-week flexibility on shift-based BDA roles. The customer base is global, requiring multilingual outreach across multiple time zones.
What is the Gungho team like?
The team is built around Business Discovery Agents (BDAs) — outstanding communicators recruited from a wide range of backgrounds, with comprehensive internal training via "two Gungho Academies." The four declared values are Hard Working, Energised, Caring and Rewarding. Team testimonials emphasise an open-door culture, a buffer between work and family life that "improved my mental health," and HR-led monthly charity events.
Work-Life Balance
Business Discovery Agents work a 36-hour, four-day compressed week — Monday to Thursday only, with shifts of either 9am–7pm or 10am–8pm and a one-hour lunch. Every Friday is off. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year (28 days including UK bank holidays), plus your birthday off as an extra day. The role is appointment-target-driven (5 well-qualified appointments per week minimum) but the schedule is the headline benefit.
