Anglia Components Plc is the UK's leading independent authorised distributor of semiconductors, optoelectronics, interconnect, passive and electromechanical components. With more than 50 years of industry experience supporting OEM and EMS companies, Anglia stocks over 2 billion components from more than 1.7 million product lines, ready for same-day dispatch. The business is accredited to AS9120, ISO9001 and ISO14001 and is a signatory to the ADS SC21 programme, supplying both SME and multinational customers across the UK and Europe.
Where will I work?
Anglia is headquartered at Sandall Road, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire (PE13 2PS), where its office, commercial and warehouse functions are based. The team is split between office-based roles in Wisbech and field-based roles — including account managers and field sales — spread across UK regions, Ireland, and the Nordic and Baltic markets. Alongside the physical operation, Anglia runs Anglia Live, its own e-commerce platform, which remains available 24/7/365 and offers a 1-2 business-day delivery service across the UK and EU.

Work-Life Balance
From 1 September 2025, Anglia closes on Fridays and operates a four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, with — in the company's words — "no changes to our colleagues' holidays or existing benefits." The move followed a half-day-Friday trial that began in early 2023; CEO Steve Rawlins noted the company "reduced our Friday opening hours to a half day at the start of 2023 and have seen the hugely positive impact this has had on our staff." Customers are unaffected because the Anglia Live platform stays open around the clock. Employees retain 27 days of holiday on top of the shorter week.
