Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Development Analyst to raise the technical level of our team. You will take part in high-impact architecture decisions, mentor other developers on the team, and be a technical reference in discussions that define the direction of the product.
Main responsibilities:
- Define and lead system architecture decisions, evaluating trade-offs in performance, scalability and cost before any team suggestion.
- Solve complex problems autonomously, going beyond the symptom to the root cause, and structurally reduce the recurrence of failures.
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers, raising the team's technical standard through thorough code review and pair programming.
- Translate business objectives into technical solutions with a product vision, anticipating impact at scale.
- Lead the adoption of good AI-assisted development practices, including Spec-Driven Development, defining how the team should validate and review AI outputs before merge.
Qualifications
- Experience in software development using GoLang and Python, with an understanding of the language's weaknesses and strengths.
- Experience using cloud resources (queues, databases, data streams).
- Practical use of software design knowledge and system architecture.
- Mastery of good AI-assisted development practices, including Spec-Driven Development, with the ability to critically validate outputs generated by AI tools.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs between consistency, availability and latency in design decisions.
- Experience with observability and troubleshooting in production (monitoring, alerting, log analysis), identifying and resolving problems before they escalate.
