Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with solid experience in microservices, an analytical profile, and a technical vision to act proactively at all stages of the software development lifecycle. We are seeking a professional capable of turning requirements into scalable solutions, with a focus on quality, innovation, and continuous evolution of applications critical to the business.
Beyond technical excellence, we expect someone with strong problem-solving skills, good communication, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to share knowledge and drive the team's growth.
Responsibilities
- Work in a multidisciplinary team developing back-end applications.
- Actively participate in technical discussions, refinements, and delivery planning.
- Contribute to all stages of the development cycle, from conception through deployment and maintenance of applications.
- Act as a technical reference for the team, supporting the resolution of complex problems.
- Develop scalable solutions with a focus on performance, availability, and quality.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure the adoption of best development practices.
- Implement and maintain automated tests.
- Keep technical documentation of services up to date.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in architecture, code, and processes.
- Share knowledge and support the technical development of the team.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Teamwork, planning, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Solid experience with Java 17 or higher.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Batch).
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
- Experience in AWS environments, including EKS, EC2, S3, EMR, and SQS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Spark using Python or Scala.
- Knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, BI, Data Mesh, and MLOps.
- Experience with observability and monitoring using Dynatrace, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
