The Role
We’re looking for an Regrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the Maintenance Operations Manager. You’ll carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance, installations, and fault diagnosis on plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and workshop machinery.
Carry out installations and support new projects.
Diagnose and resolve air conditioning and refrigeration faults.
Respond to breakdowns and ad-hoc maintenance requests across all sites.
Work with external contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate service reports and update work orders via CAFM system.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsible for maintaining an up to date F-Gas register
What We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
Ability to interpret schematic circuit diagrams.
Flexible to provide standby cover on a 24/7 rota basis.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely, Electrical Maintenance qualification, 18th Edition certification.
