Electronics Technician / Electrician in Maintenance for Operational & Conveyor Technology (all genders)
As an Electronics Technician / Electrician in our maintenance team, you help ensure that our conveyor technology and operational systems function trouble-free at all times. With your technical expertise in electrical engineering and your understanding of warehouse automation systems, you work together with your management team to make the technical processes of our systems even more efficient and to secure Zalando's technology leadership.

You are responsible for preventive maintenance of our conveyor technology as well as warehouse automation, and carry out orders in compliance with all relevant rules and guidelines.

You independently perform qualified work on control cabinets and electrical components, in compliance with all safety standards.

In the event of faults, you get to the root causes and initiate measures to permanently resolve problems and reduce operational risks.

You continuously expand your technical knowledge and optimize existing processes in maintenance and fault clearance.
WE'D LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF

You have a successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (e.g., for operational technology, automation technology) or as an Electrician.

You have the competence and authorization to carry out work on low-voltage switchgear / control cabinets (EFK – qualified electrical person).

You have initial experience in the maintenance, servicing and fault clearance of conveyor and plant technology and/or knowledge of industrial plant control.

You have a strong interest in familiarizing yourself with new systems, and you bring solution-oriented thinking and action in the interest of smooth logistics processes.

You are willing to work in a three-shift system.

LOCATION: Gießen
Our European logistics network is growing: we are currently in the preparation phase for opening our new site in Gießen (Hesse), which is only one hour from Frankfurt am Main. The 130,000 square metre, state-of-the-art logistics centre will be operated by Zalando and is designed for up to 1,700 employees. From this site, customers in Germany and neighbouring markets will receive their parcels from summer 2026 onward.
Our employees in logistics ensure that more than 60 million Zalando customers in more than 29 European markets receive their orders reliably every day. Zalando today has a European-wide logistics network with twelve sites in seven countries. In Germany alone, around 6,000 employees from over 100 nations work at five Zalando logistics sites.
