How you help our First Class customers

Within First Class, you and your colleagues provide an exclusive support experience. You get your own customer portfolio and build strong relationships with management teams. You understand what's happening, get to know their organization better and better, and ensure that customers find their way easily within AFAS.

You focus on, among other things:

  • Proactively advising customers on the successful implementation of AFAS Profit.
  • Holding regular meetings with customers about tickets, product development requests, releases, projects and important developments.
  • Connecting customers with the right colleagues within AFAS, for example support, consultancy or product development.
  • Advising on configuration issues, even if they fall outside your own area of expertise.
  • Visiting customers on-site so you can better understand their processes and practices.
  • Contributing ideas for events such as Succestival, AFAS Open and other customer meetings.
  • Appropriately handling incidents during emergency services, together with colleagues where necessary.

You work primarily by appointment. This gives you room to prepare conversations well, look ahead and help customers not just with today's question, but also with what will be needed tomorrow.

How you grow in your role

You don't start from scratch. You bring at least one year of experience with AFAS software, for example as a key user, administrator, consultant or support employee. You use that foundation to quickly grow in customer advice, relationship management and technical expertise.

From the start you get your own customer portfolio, but you're not alone. You learn from experienced First Class colleagues, ask questions, observe and gradually discover how to best guide customers.

You develop into a specialist within the industry for which you are responsible. You learn which processes, challenges and questions often come up there. This allows you to advise customers more and more precisely and helps colleagues within Support expand their knowledge of your industry.

And because First Class continues to develop, you also help build the team itself. What could be smarter? What could be better? How can we make our service delivery even stronger? Your ideas are welcome.

What makes First Class so special?

First Class is about responsibility, trust, action and enjoyment. We want to make a difference for customers who work intensively with our software. Not by shouting louder, but by listening better, advising more sharply and looking beyond a single ticket.

You immerse customers in the warm First Class experience: attention, service and advice. Everything needed to move forward together.

You join a close-knit team where collaboration is important. You learn a lot from each other, challenge each other and have room to bring your own way of working. You have a lot of freedom to organize your own schedule and plan appointments smartly. With that freedom comes responsibility, and that suits you.
