Assessment Associate

Compressed Work WeekHybrid · Syracuse, USA

The 4-day week in United States

About the role

The Assessment Associate is a member of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness assessment working team, which partners with faculty, staff, and academic leaders to sustain a collaborative, evidence-based culture of assessment that strengthens student learning and post-graduation outcomes at Syracuse University. Serving as a consultant and resource to a set of schools and colleges, the Associate supports faculty and program leaders as they develop meaningful learning outcomes, sustain program-level assessment and action plans, and use results to improve teaching and learning. The Associate also leads the analysis of the University’s Shared Competencies assessment, transforming results into clear dashboards and reports that reveal where students are achieving learning outcomes and where gaps remain, informing action and improvement. In partnership with the Center for Student Excellence and the schools and colleges, the Associate manages the University’s First Destination Survey, overseeing the collection of post-graduate outcomes data and communicating where recent graduates land and how their paths vary across schools/colleges and populations.
