You make sure applications don't just run – they work reliably.

As Application and Service Manager, you are the interface between users, support, technology and systems. You analyse malfunctions, process service requests and ensure that problems are solved sustainably – not just made to disappear for the short term.

In doing so, you work deep in operational IT service management: from monitoring and error analysis to database queries and smaller technical adjustments, as well as the administration of applications at the application level.

You keep an eye not only on individual incidents, but also on the stability and quality of our services as a whole. This includes monitoring, service levels and the continuous improvement of our operational processes.

In the longer term, you will also take on responsibility for managing external service providers and ensure that agreed services are delivered reliably.

You work in a structured, analytical way and with a clear understanding that stable systems are no coincidence.

Your Mission

• You ensure that malfunctions turn into sustainable solutions – structured, traceable and reliable

• You analyse incidents and service requests and process them independently during ongoing operations

• You carry out queries, checks and changes at database level and work safely in database-related structures

• You implement smaller technical adjustments and scripts within a defined framework

• You develop and monitor service levels and SLAs and support their measurement using relevant KPIs

• You work with monitoring and alerting tools and analyse anomalies during ongoing operations

• You keep applications stable, operable and cleanly documented

• You analyse error patterns, including in more complex or distributed system landscapes

• You implement internal and regulatory documentation requirements

• You document solutions, workarounds and operational knowledge in a traceable and clean manner

• You take part in IT and service-related projects

• You coordinate closely with IT Support, IT Technology, business departments and external service providers

• You support, in the longer term, the management and coordination of external service providers

Your Foundation

• You have a completed apprenticeship, a degree or a comparable qualification with an IT focus

• Relevant practical experience can also replace a formal qualification

• You have a strong affinity for IT and a good technical understanding

• You have good knowledge of working with databases and database-related analyses

• You are familiar with monitoring and alerting tools – for example from the Grafana environment

• Knowledge of Business Central or CRM applications is a plus

• You are interested in connections within distributed systems and technical service processes

• You think analytically and approach error and root cause analyses in a structured way

• You work independently, responsibly and reliably

• You communicate clearly – in writing as well as verbally

• You enjoy working in a team and act in a service-oriented manner

• You are keen to keep developing your professional skills continuously

Our Foundation Basis

At our company, your development does not depend on chance. That is why we have created a transparent development and compensation model.

This position is assigned to the IT cluster and – depending on your qualifications and experience – is classified in the Junior Specialist to Professional Specialist range. The corresponding full-time annual salary is currently between €42,000 and €65,000 gross.
