About Zepz

What is Zepz?

Zepz is the group behind the WorldRemit and Sendwave digital remittance brands. Its careers page says Zepz "is the power behind WorldRemit and Sendwave" and describes a mission to celebrate "the incredible impact migrants have, both at home and abroad". The group's own site says WorldRemit set out in 2010 to bring cross-border money transfers online, Sendwave followed in 2014 with a mobile-first app, and "The two came together, and Zepz was formed to bring both brands under one roof" in 2021. On 6 November 2026 the site claimed "Over 9 Million customers trust our brands", "Over 50 million customer transactions processed in 2025" and that customers "can send to over 130 locations worldwide". It names HSBC, Accel, LeapFrog Investments, TCV, Coller Capital and the International Finance Corporation among its investors.

Where will I work?

Zepz's adverts are written for a mix of set-ups. Thirteen of the 15 UK adverts (all but the two talent-community adverts) and the South African advert are hybrid: they say teams are expected to come to the office on a regular basis and to be within a comfortable commutable distance of the London or Cape Town office. Four of the six Belgian adverts carry the same office line (three name the Belgium office, one names London) and the other two describe a remote-first culture; the Australian advert says only that teams are expected to come to the office on a regular basis. The US adverts describe a remote-first culture (one mentions team off-sites and connects), and the four adverts for Cebu in the Philippines are listed as in-office roles (one gives the Cebu Business Park address, two say the team comes to the Cebu office on a regular basis, and one repeats the line that you can work in your employing country wherever you feel the most focused and productive). Companies House lists 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF as the registered office of both WorldRemit Ltd and Zepz Technology Services Limited, and the WorldRemit site has described more than 30 nationalities in its London headquarters alone. The board held 33 live adverts on 6 November 2026: UK 15, Belgium 6, United States 6, Philippines 4, South Africa 1 and Australia 1. The six Belgian adverts are compliance, risk, finance and outsourcing-oversight roles; four refer to the NBB (the National Bank of Belgium), and the Head of Risk and Compliance advert describes an NBB-approved "Fit and Proper" executive and lists "Maintain the Belgian payment institution license" among the responsibilities.

What is the Zepz team like?

The adverts describe a fast-moving, high-ownership culture built on three core commitments: Integrity, Outcomes and Velocity. The careers page lists the traits it hires for as Mission Driven Builders, Relentless Learners, Transparent Communicators and Autonomous Problem Solvers, and says "Our global team of 700+ people is spread across six continents". The adverts add that "we speak over twenty languages", and the careers page says many of the team "are also WorldRemit or Sendwave customers". Alongside that, 28 of the 33 adverts say "As Zepz continues to build AI into how we work, we expect everyone to engage with it as a core part of their role". Employee stories on the careers page come from payroll, IT, people, customer care and risk and compliance colleagues, several of whom describe long careers and internal moves.

Work-Life Balance

The company-level statement is on the careers page: "Benefit from our location-specific perks designed to support your whole life, which can include unlimited annual leave, great healthcare benefits and employee discounts". Most adverts repeat it as a perk list, for example "unlimited annual leave , great healthcare benefits, and employee discounts" in UK, Belgian, US, South African and Australian adverts. Read the wording as location-specific: two in-office Cebu adverts say plain "annual leave" and one US advert says "flexible annual leave". The careers page is also direct about the trade-off, saying "we just ask for your high output, commitment and ownership in return". The remote-first adverts add that you can work in your employing country wherever you feel the most focused and productive. Glassdoor could not be read when this profile was written, so treat the culture as unverified from the outside.

Perks and Benefits

  • Unlimited annual leave in 28 of the 31 non-talent-pool adverts, as a location-specific perk (careers page: "which can include unlimited annual leave")
  • Healthcare benefits, described as "great healthcare benefits" (location-specific)
  • Employee discounts
  • Remote-first flexibility to work in your employing country (US and some other adverts)
  • Team off-sites and connects for remote teams (one US advert)
  • Cebu office life: yoga and pilates sessions, weekly Friday get-togethers and a basketball league (careers-page post teaser, 6 October 2026)
