What is Whering?
Whering (whering.co.uk) is a London-based fashion-technology startup founded in 2020 that digitizes wardrobes to combat the "I-have-nothing-to-wear" problem and enable more sustainable, circular fashion consumption. The platform uses AI-driven styling algorithms to help users see, organise and re-wear what they already own — described in the company's own words as a "rapidly advancing fashion tech startup with a dedicated focus on sustainability and circular reuse."
The company's self-described mission is to "shape the future of feel good circular fashion" — combining technology with the principle that "Sustainability is our default setting. With circular fashion principles ingrained in our DNA, we help Wherers be their best selves, encouraging freedom of style whilst being better for the planet in the process."
Where will I work?
Whering operates a hybrid model from their London office, with the explicit option of 100% remote within the UK for some positions. The team describes loving "our flexible working hours and four-day work week, but also the ability to meet in person once or twice a week" and uses meet-ups "to strategise, brainstorm, and meet partners (with a picante here and there)."
What is the Whering team like?
The Whering team is small (roughly 17 employees) and genuinely international: "We are from all over the world and our team speaks over eight languages!"
