What is Westminster Foundation for Democracy?
Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) is the UK's public body dedicated to supporting democracy around the world. Founded in 1992 and sponsored by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, WFD works with parliaments, political parties, electoral bodies and civil society in dozens of countries to make political systems fairer, more inclusive and more accountable.
Where will I work?
Hybrid. WFD's head office is in Westminster, London, with programme staff based in countries across its global portfolio; many roles support hybrid and remote working.
What is the WFD team like?
Around 150 staff across governance and programmes, research, thematic teams (elections, inclusion, climate, accountability), communications, finance and operations.
