Urlaubsguru (internationally also known as Holidayguru) is one of Germany's biggest online travel-deal platforms. It curates and publishes hand-picked holiday, flight and hotel deals and pairs them with a booking platform spanning more than 47 tour operators, so readers can plan and book package holidays, hotels, cruises and city breaks in one place. A Customer Care team supports travellers "365 Tage im Jahr … per Telefon, E-Mail, Chat oder Social Media" — every day of the year, by phone, email, chat or social media.

Where will I work?
The team is based at Urlaubsguru's headquarters in Holzwickede, North Rhine-Westphalia, with hybrid and flexible working. Hours are notably flexible — staff can work "zwischen 6:00 – 24:00 Uhr," whenever fits their day — and a generous remote allowance ("Urlaubsguru Balance") lets people work up to 120 days a year from anywhere in Germany and a further 60 days a year from abroad.
What is the Urlaubsguru team like?
Around 80 people work across editorial, product, marketing, sales and tech. The culture is deliberately relaxed and people-first — "Arbeiten bei Urlaubsguru bedeutet, dass du als Mensch wichtig bist" (working here means you matter as a person) — supported by a Feel-Good Manager, team events, shared (including vegan) lunches and a "Leadership Circle" of regularly trained managers. The hiring journey is a clear three-step process: an online application, a "First Meet Up" with the potential manager and recruiting team, and a role-specific "Final Meet Up," with feedback in roughly 5–7 days at each stage.
Work-Life Balance
Full-time at Urlaubsguru means a 36-hour week that includes a short Friday of just four hours — "Vollzeit bei uns bedeutet 36 Wochenstunden, inklusive einem kurzen Freitag mit nur 4 Stunden – für ein verlängertes Wochenende." The working week ends early for the whole team, every week, at full salary, on top of flexible daily hours and 30+ days of paid leave (30 holiday days plus company shutdown days, a company holiday and "Gurucation").
