About Tango
What is Tango?
Tango turns anyone's screen clicks into instant how-to documentation: do a process once and Tango captures it as a step-by-step guide with screenshots, then guides other users through the same workflow inside their real applications. Founded in 2020 and backed by ~$20M from investors including Tiger Global and Wing, Tango (tango.ai, formerly tango.us) is used by enablement, operations and training teams to kill the "let me screen-record that for you" tax. Under the hood Tango is a browser-extension product with real technical depth — DOM capture, redaction, in-app guidance overlays — and its go-to-market motion is product-led, which keeps the team small relative to its customer base.
Where will I work?
Anywhere in the US: the careers page says "Work from anywhere in the U.S." and adverts describe "a remote position based in the US, with periodic off-sites to meet your teammates in person" — with UberEats and Deskpass stipends thrown in.
What is the Tango team like?
A small product-led team (a few dozen people) across product, engineering and go-to-market. Two honest notes: hiring is deliberate — a single live opening at the time of listing, so favourite the profile and watch for roles — and the company has no matchable review-site entity yet (several unrelated "Tango"-named companies muddy the waters), so we can't report a work-life-balance rating. Its written policies below lean firmly pro-rest.
Work-Life Balance
The time-off line is one of the most generous we've verified this year, verbatim: "Unlimited PTO, 10 holidays, 4 personal volunteer days, 4 mental health days, and birthdays off." The volunteer and mental-health day counts are specific and fixed — four of each per year — which reads as a policy someone actually operationalised rather than a careers-page flourish.
