What is Spotify?

Spotify is the world's largest audio streaming and media service, founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2006 by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon. The platform offers 100+ million music tracks, 7+ million podcasts, and 350,000+ audiobooks to more than 713 million monthly active users (281M paying subscribers) across 180+ markets. Spotify is publicly traded on the NYSE (SPOT) with a market cap of ~$100B and ~$20B in annual revenue.

Spotify's mission is to support creators and inspire fans, with significant investment in personalised recommendation algorithms, podcast distribution (acquired Gimlet, Anchor, Megaphone, The Ringer), audiobooks, and creator monetisation tools.

Where will I work?
