About SeatGeek
What is SeatGeek?
SeatGeek is a mobile-first ticketing platform founded in 2009 by Jack Groetzinger, Russell D'Souza, and Eric Waller. Originally a secondary-market aggregator, it has grown into a primary + secondary ticketing platform serving teams across the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, Premier League, and major music venues. Headquartered in New York with offices in Manchester (UK).
Where will I work?
NYC HQ anchors ~half of current openings (18 of 36); the rest are split roughly evenly between Remote-USA (16) and a smaller Manchester / Remote-UK footprint. SeatGeek has historically supported strong remote optionality on most engineering, analytics, and ops roles.
What is the SeatGeek team like?
~830-person product + engineering company with a hybrid/remote-friendly culture. Functions include engineering, product, analytics, sales (sports + music verticals), customer success, and ops. The brand voice on careers materials skews casual + sports-aware.
Work-Life Balance
SeatGeek sits in our Unlimited PTO category. Every JD on the Greenhouse board carries the canonical benefits paragraph, which lists it verbatim:
"A WFH stipend to support your home office setup. Unlimited PTO. Eligible for the SG discretionary annual bonus based on individual + company performance..."
34 of 36 active JDs (94%) carry the exact phrase "Unlimited PTO" as a benefits-list line item. The 2 outliers are Sales Development Representative roles with a different (shorter) benefits paragraph that omits the line but doesn't contradict it.
