About Routeware
What is Routeware?
Routeware builds the software that runs waste and recycling operations — routing, fleet telematics, resident engagement and billing for haulers and municipalities. Founded in 1999 and headquartered between Portland, Oregon and Austin, with a UK arm, its roughly 250 people digitize one of the most essential and least glamorous industries there is.
Where will I work?
Mostly from home: at our last count ten of its fifteen openings were Remote-US, with two Portland roles and three in the UK — customer success, engineering, product, operations and sales.
What is the Routeware team like?
Around 250 people who take garbage seriously — route optimization, edge devices on trucks, municipal integrations. It's a steady, private-equity-backed vertical-SaaS business rather than a hype cycle.
