What is Roadie?
Roadie is a crowdsourced same-day delivery platform headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2014 and acquired by UPS in 2021, it connects businesses and individuals with a nationwide network of over 300,000 independent drivers, covering the vast majority of US households. Roadie handles urgent hot-shot deliveries, local next-day shipments and oversized or bulky items for industries spanning e-commerce, retail, healthcare and construction.
Where will I work?
Roadie hires remotely across the United States — every current opening is fully remote — while maintaining its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Teams work on a flexible schedule and receive a monthly work-from-home stipend.
What is the Roadie team like?
Around 350 corporate employees power the platform behind the scenes — engineering, product, support, trust & safety and operations — separate from the independent driver network. Roadie has been recognised as one of Atlanta's Best Places to Work.
Work-Life Balance
Most full-time roles enjoy "Monthly 3-day weekends" — one extra long weekend every month on top of a normal full week — which Roadie classes as a rotating 4-day week. The Customer Support team works a compressed four-day workweek. Roadie also offers unlimited PTO, paid sabbatical leave for tenured employees and paid parental leave.
