About Rain
What is Rain?
Rain (operated by Signify Holdings, Inc.) powers stablecoin cards and money movement for leading platforms and institutions. Rain's infrastructure makes stablecoins "usable in the real-world by powering card transactions, cross-border payments, b2b purchases, remittances, and more," and the company partners with fintechs, neobanks, and institutions to launch global, inclusive, efficient payment products. The company sums up the pitch in one line: "Rain makes the next generation of payments possible across the globe."
Rain operates through regulated partners — cards are issued by Third National pursuant to a license from Visa, and banking services are provided by SSB (Member FDIC). The company describes itself as "a lean and mighty team of passionate builders and veteran founders."
Where will I work?
Rain is headquartered in NYC with a hybrid setup — the Flatiron office is the in-person hub for NYC-based teammates, with remote roles for some functions. The careers page calls team members "Rainmakers" and emphasises a culture of high autonomy: "We hire experts and trust them fully. There's no place for micromanaging, second-guessing, or politics at Rain."
What is the Rain team like?
With 40 open roles at time of writing, Rain is hiring at scale across engineering, product, sales, and operations. Seven core values define how Rainmakers work: Trust your team (autonomy and full backing), Do right by our people (show up and follow through), Raise the bar every day (good enough isn't good enough), Never take anything for granted ("Only the paranoid survive"), Run through walls ("Hard things are the only things worth doing"), Doing > talking about doing ("bias for motion over meetings"), and Burn the ships (no fallback plan, all in). Team summits — both domestic and international — are explicitly listed in the benefits as a way to "get to know each other, strengthen our relationships, and build a common destiny."
Work-Life Balance
Rain offers Unlimited PTO with the explicit framing that "rest and recovery are part of performance." The hybrid policy lets NYC-based Rainmakers mix Flatiron-office days with WFH, while the wellness stipend covers fitness, therapy, and well-being.
