About Prove
What is Prove?
Prove is a digital-identity platform that helps companies verify, authenticate, and onboard customers using mobile-network signals as the trust anchor. Originally founded as Payfone in 2008 by Rodger Desai, the company rebranded to Prove in 2021 to reflect its expanded identity + authentication mission. Today Prove powers identity verification and KYC workflows for top US banks, fintechs, and digital-first retailers.
Where will I work?
NYC HQ anchors most of the team, with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, Silicon Valley, London, São Paulo, and Dublin. Most JDs are tagged as US-anchored hybrid or remote-friendly; international roles are routed to the relevant regional office.
What is the Prove team like?
~500-person team across engineering, product, sales, customer success, security, and compliance functions. The brand voice emphasises trust, identity, and "phone-as-the-trust-anchor" expertise. Engineering culture is identity-tech / fintech-adjacent.
Work-Life Balance
Prove sits in our Unlimited PTO category. Two independent primary sources confirm the policy:
(careers page) "Unlimited PTO, Flexible hours & 12 paid holidays for all global employees"
(every active JD) "Comprehensive Medical and Local Country Pension (International Offices). Unlimited Vacation and Flexible hours. Comprehensive medical benefits for you and your family ❤️"
The careers page is explicit that the policy is for all global employees — no regional carve-out — and every JD repeats the unlimited-vacation + flexible-hours benefits line.
