About Pipe17
What is Pipe17?
Pipe17 is an AI-native Order Operations Platform for ecommerce — the connectivity layer that keeps orders, inventory and fulfillment flowing between storefronts, marketplaces, 3PLs and ERPs, with its "Pippen" AI agent and even an MCP server for the agentic-commerce era. Founded in Seattle in 2019, it is a Series A company backed by GLP Capital Partners, with around 72 people and a significant Bay Area presence.
Where will I work?
US roles are remote (two Seattle-only engineering roles excepted), and the whole company meets twice a year in Seattle, San Francisco or "some other fun location". (Pipe17 also hires LATAM and offshore contractors under separate terms — we list its US roles, where the policy below applies.)
What is the Pipe17 team like?
Around 72 people across engineering, sales, marketing and ecommerce operations specialists — a connectivity-obsessed team selling into the messy middle of commerce infrastructure, with pick-your-own Apple equipment and an annual training budget.
Work-Life Balance
Pipe17 wrote the least vague unlimited-PTO policy we've seen, verbatim from its careers page: "Unlimited PTO. Plus we require you to take at least 2 weeks off each year. This isn't a vague policy where unlimited vacation means no vacation." Its job descriptions add the proof point: "We see most employees take 4 weeks off per year."
