What is P-1 AI?
P-1 AI is building engineering AGI: AI systems that can do the work of a human engineer designing complex physical products — aircraft, spacecraft, data centers and other hard engineering artifacts. Founded in 2024 by Paul Eremenko (former CTO of Airbus and United Technologies) and a team of AI and aerospace veterans, it has raised over $70M.
Where will I work?
Mixed: research and AI engineering roles are onsite in San Mateo, California (relocation support available), while product and forward-deployed roles are remote across the US and Canada — remote employees spend one week out of six working together in the San Mateo office.
What is the P-1 AI team like?
A small team (~40 people) of AI researchers, engineers and aerospace domain experts, working from first principles on a product category that doesn't exist yet.
