Occidental Petroleum Corporation ("Oxy") is an international energy and chemical company headquartered in Houston, Texas (5 Greenway Plaza), with roots going back to 1920. Oxy is publicly listed on the NYSE (OXY) and is taking bold steps to innovate for a lower-carbon future — including pioneering carbon-management technologies — while continuing to operate in oil and gas exploration, production, and chemicals.
Where Will I Work?
Oxy's workforce of 17,000 (per DB) operates across upstream, midstream, chemicals (OxyChem), and low-carbon ventures. Office employees are eligible for the Balanced Workplace Program (BWP), implemented in 2021: three core days working in the office and two days working from home. Field-operations roles remain primarily on-site.
