About Omada Health
What is Omada Health?
Omada Health (Nasdaq: OMDA) is a virtual-first provider of chronic-condition care in the United States. The company describes itself as "reverse engineering the way healthcare is delivered in America, putting the space between doctor visits–where health is won or lost–at the center of care," with programmes for obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol and musculoskeletal conditions, plus support for people on GLP-1 therapy. Its model combines "human-led care teams, connected devices, and AI-enabled technology to deliver personalized care at scale." Omada was founded in 2011 and has served more than two million members since launch, reaching them through employers, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers and health systems rather than direct to patients. The stated mission: "We're on a mission to inspire lasting health changes that change lives."
Where will I work?
Omada is remote-first across the United States. "Join Omada from anywhere in the US. No matter where you're located, we budget for travel so your team can come together." Every one of the 28 roles currently open on the company's Greenhouse board is listed as "Remote, USA", covering applied AI and machine learning, engineering, product design, clinical and translational research, marketing, enterprise sales, legal and people functions. Job ads describe a "Remote first work from home culture." Hiring is US-based; Omada does not advertise remote roles outside the United States.
What is the Omada Health team like?
Six values appear on every job ad and shape how the work gets done: Cultivate Trust ("We listen closely and we operate with kindness"), Seek Context ("We do our research up front to move faster down the road"), Act Boldly, Deliver Results ("We reward impact above output. We set a high bar, we're not afraid to fail"), Succeed Together, and Remember Why We're Here ("We push through the challenges of changing health care because we know the destination is worth it"). It is a mixed clinical and technical organisation: care teams and behavioural scientists alongside data scientists, engineers and commercial staff. The company also runs employee resource groups and "a cross-functional team dedicated to belonging."
Work-Life Balance
Time off is flexible rather than accrued. Omada offers "Flexible Time Off to help you rest, recharge, and connect with loved ones," described on the careers site as investing in yourself "with flexible time away." No day count is published. The most concrete commitment is protected focus time: "Every Wednesday afternoon, we observe company-wide focus time with nothing on the calendar." New parents are supported with "competitive leave policies and flexible schedules upon return." Employees can join Omada's own health programme and "invite a loved one to join you too," and there is a Lifestyle Spending Account. Omada publishes no four-day week, compressed week or reduced-hours schedule, and none of the 28 open roles mentions one.
