About Management Leadership for Tomorrow
What is Management Leadership for Tomorrow?
Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is a national nonprofit that has been advancing racial equity in leadership since 2002. MLT equips Black, Latinx and Native American talent — from college students to seasoned executives — with the coaching, hard-skills playbooks, and door-opening networks to secure high-trajectory jobs and reach senior leadership. It also partners with employers on recruiting, retaining and advancing diverse talent.
More than 10,000 MLT Rising Leaders have come through its career-preparation programs, supported by partnerships with hundreds of leading companies and business schools.
Where will I work?
MLT is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, and designs roles as hybrid or remote to give people the flexibility to do their best work — current openings include fully remote positions and Bethesda-hybrid ones, with in-person collaboration moments like team retreats.
What is the MLT team like?
A mission-driven staff (~180 people) across programs, advancement/fundraising, partnerships, finance and operations, serving a national community of fellows and employer partners.

MLT's package includes early wrap-ups on Summer Fridays — "so you can enjoy more daylight and downtime" — plus year-round Focus Fridays dedicated to deep work, self-reflection and personal development (no internal meetings). Time off is 15+ PTO days plus 10 paid holidays.
