About LSEG
What is LSEG?
LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is one of the world's leading providers of financial markets infrastructure and data. Beyond running the London Stock Exchange itself (founded 1801), the group owns FTSE Russell indices, LCH clearing and one of the world's largest financial data and analytics businesses, serving customers in over 170 countries with around 27,000 employees.
Where will I work?
LSEG is a global, hybrid employer with major hubs in London, New York, St. Louis, Bucharest, Gdynia, Bangalore, Colombo and Beijing. Most roles are office-based with hybrid flexibility.
What is the LSEG team like?
A 27,000-person organisation dominated by engineering, data and product roles — the live job board is overwhelmingly software engineering, data engineering, product management and analytics. Glassdoor reviewers' single most-cited positive (362 mentions) is "easy and good work/life balance".
Work-Life Balance
Since July 2024, LSEG's global parental leave policy gives every employee "26 weeks of fully paid leave, when they welcome a child into their family ... regardless of the parent's gender, how they become a parent or where they are located globally" (after 12 months of service). Parents can follow it with an eight-week phased return working 80% of normal hours at full pay, and up to 12 weeks of additional leave if a newborn needs neonatal care. Where local laws provide more, the local entitlement is honoured.
