What is Lightning AI?
Lightning AI is the company behind PyTorch Lightning, the open-source framework that strips the boilerplate out of deep-learning training loops and is now a standard tool in AI research and engineering.
Around that open-source core the company has built a commercial platform — Lightning Studios and related products — that lets teams prototype, train and deploy AI models on cloud GPUs without assembling the infrastructure themselves. Founded in 2019, it has raised over $125M.

What is the Lightning AI team like?
Around 200 people: research and platform engineering, developer-facing support, plus sales, finance and operations. The company sits close to the open-source AI community it grew out of.
