Lifted (officially Lifted, an Upwork Company™) is the first talent, country, and contract-agnostic contingent workforce management solution — giving enterprises a unified way to source, contract, manage, and pay any type of contingent talent, anywhere in the world. Today, "contingent work runs through fragmented systems and providers, creating inefficiency, compliance risks, and limited visibility. We're here to change that. By combining technology and global services into one seamless solution, we help enterprises hire faster, operate with confidence, and gain live visibility across all external talent." The platform supports five engagement models: Independent Contractor, Staff Augmentation, Employer of Record, Agent of Record, and Outsourcing.
The customer roster underscores the enterprise-grade fit: Hitachi Energy (synchronized global rebrand), Jumio (4-day average time-to-hire across 10 countries), Pipedrive (3× productivity increase), Automattic (9 languages supported for WordPress, Woo, Jetpack), and Mobileum (25 operations systems consolidated). Lifted is used by 25,000 hiring managers globally and holds SOC 2 Type 1, ISO 27001:2022, GDPR, and CCPA certifications.
Where will I work?
Lifted is headquartered at 201 W 5th St, Suite 1600, Austin, TX 78701. The legal entity is Lifted Solutions LLC. The team includes both full-time employees and contingent workforce professionals located around the world (Lifted dogfoods its own platform — many open roles are explicitly contract roles via Lifted's CW program).
What is the Lifted team like?
Lifted is hiring across 8 active roles spanning sales (Commercial Account Manager, Customer Success Manager), strategic operations (Director, Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects), engineering, and contract specialists (Instructional Designer, Senior QA Engineer, etc.). Many of the contract roles are explicitly "engagement through Lifted's contingent workforce (CW) program. Our CW professionals are located around the world."
The compensation philosophy is transparent — JDs disclose specific salary ranges. For example, the Commercial Account Manager role lists base compensation $70K–$90K with OTE $116K–$150K including sales incentive compensation.
