What is Leadership Connect?
Leadership Connect says its vision is simple: "Use data to help policymakers and contractors make smarter, faster decisions." Its company page describes "a DC-based GovTech powerhouse" that rose in 2019 from "a brick-and-mortar publishing legacy", and counts "1,200+" clients and "45,000+" users. The product maps who works where across Congress, federal agencies, contractors and policy organisations, and the postings say the company was "Founded by two former CEOs of S&P 500 companies and a former presidential press secretary", with a "premier information service" built for "developing relationships that impact decisions in government, business, and media". It describes itself as "privately held" and "debt free", and one of "the few truly nonpartisan organizations in DC". On 2026-10-16 its Lever board listed six roles: an Associate Account Manager and a Client Success Manager in Washington, DC, a Renewal Manager (Remote, US), a Data Operations Analyst in Toronto, and two engineering roles in Montreal.
Where will I work?
The careers page gives the headquarters as 525 9th Street NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC. The US postings say "We currently have teams working remotely and in-office", and the two DC roles are listed as "Washington, DC (Headquarters)" while the Renewal Manager is "Remote (US)". The Toronto analyst is listed "Toronto (Remote)" and the two engineers "Montreal, Quebec (Remote)". The engineering postings add that "Leadership Connect Canada (LCC), a subsidiary of Leadership Connect Inc., is our Canadian entity operating in the province of Quebec" and "This opportunity requires an applicant to live and work within the province of Quebec."
What is the Leadership Connect team like?
Postings call it "a close-knit team dedicated to helping each of our users make a difference" and say "Everyone from full-stack developers to data scientists, former Hill staffers, and sales professionals help shape our in-depth people intelligence." The "What Is It Like to Work Here?" section describes "a friendly and enjoyable workplace, with regular team-building events, happy hours, and more", and says "Transparency is key within our company, and we hold weekly town halls led by our CEO" (monthly in the Canadian postings). The engineering role sits on an Entitlements Team working with Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Python and AWS. The postings also say "If you're excited about this role but don't meet 100% of the requirements, we still want to hear from you!"
Work-Life Balance
Every posting carries an unlimited time-off line: "Unlimited PTO!" on the three US roles and "Unlimited Vacation Leave" on the three Canadian ones, alongside "flexible PTO policies to ensure you can enjoy your time outside the office and focus on your personal life". No minimum is stated. US roles list "Eleven Paid Holidays" and the Canadian roles "12 Paid Holidays". The postings do not publish salary ranges or working hours.
