What is Latitude AI?
Latitude AI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company developing automated-driving technology — hands-free, eyes-off driver-assistance for consumer vehicles at scale. Formed in 2023 and built around a core of automated-driving veterans, it pairs startup pace with the reach of one of the world's largest automakers.
Where will I work?
Engineering hubs are in Pittsburgh (HQ), Palo Alto and the Detroit area (Dearborn/Allen Park), with test operations in additional US locations. Most full-time roles are attached to one or more hubs.
What is the Latitude AI team like?
A ~580-person organisation spanning machine learning, robotics, simulation, safety, systems and vehicle engineering — "solving hard technical problems" with the resources of Ford behind it.
