What is Kyogle Council?
Kyogle Council is the local government for Kyogle and its surrounding villages in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales — promoted as "The Gateway to the Rainforest", with "World Heritage-listed rainforests, mountains and natural beauty in the heart of Northern NSW". It runs the services of a rural shire: roads, bridges and infrastructure, water supply and sewerage, waste management, planning and development, parks and camp grounds, swimming pools in Kyogle, Bonalbo and Woodenbong, the library and mobile library, the Kyogle Museum, and creative spaces such as the Roxy Gallery. Council is also fast-tracking its watermains replacement programme in response to ongoing issues with the 10km of aged, cast-iron water pipes in Kyogle.

On site. The Council office is at 1 Stratheden Street, Kyogle, and operational roles work across the shire's towns, villages and facilities, including Bonalbo and Woodenbong. Adverts describe "A friendly, supportive and flexible working environment".
