About HR Acuity
What is HR Acuity?
HR Acuity is the leading provider of employee-relations case management and investigation software — the system of record HR teams at hundreds of large employers use to document, investigate and analyze workplace issues consistently and defensibly. Founded in 2006 by CEO Deb Muller in Florham Park, New Jersey, it has grown to around 190 people with $47M raised, selling a category it effectively created.
Where will I work?
Anywhere in the US — job listings post as remote and the benefits list leads with a remote work environment. The Florham Park headquarters anchors the company without tethering the team.
What is the HR Acuity team like?
About 190 people across engineering, data science, customer success and marketing, led by a female founder-CEO — a rarity in HR tech. Recent openings include a Staff Data Scientist at $170-190k base, with pay ranges published.
Work-Life Balance
The benefits block in HR Acuity's own job descriptions reads: "Half day summer Fridays* and half day first Fridays* to catch up on work, personal development, or an afternoon off" — with an honest footnote we're passing on verbatim: "* Based upon business needs". Alongside that: "Take a break from work with our unlimited PTO policy to refresh and recharge", plus two full company shutdowns — the week of July 4th and the December holiday week — a birthday day off, and eight volunteer hours.
