What is Getaround?
Getaround is Europe's leading peer-to-peer carsharing platform, enabling city-dwellers to instantly reserve a vehicle directly from their smartphone — no paperwork, no queues, no key handover. With connected-car technology built into every vehicle, users can book, unlock and drive in seconds.
Mission: "Make our cities better places to live through carsharing." Studies show one shared car replaces 5-8 privately owned cars — freeing up space and giving communities 24/7 access to vehicles when they need them.
Getaround Europe was originally Drivy, a French carsharing platform founded 2011; it was acquired by Getaround in 2019. After Getaround Inc (US) filed for Chapter 11 in 2024, the European operation continues independently with headquarters in Paris and an office in Oslo.
Where will I work?
Getaround Europe is based in Paris (France) with a secondary office in Oslo (Norway). Most roles are hybrid — Paris-based employees can work up to 3 days remote per week, and some positions are fully remote.

Work-Life Balance
Getaround Europe offers an optional 4-day work week at 80% salary (alongside the standard 5-day arrangement), and a 3-day work week at 60% salary for those who want even more time off. This pro-rata approach gives staff genuine flexibility over how they balance work and life.
In addition: 3 remote days per week for Paris-based staff, with some positions fully remote.
