About Exos

What is Exos?

Exos is a Phoenix-headquartered human-performance coaching and training company with more than 4,000 team members "improving thousands of lives every day." Originally founded as Athletes' Performance in 1999 (the brand rebranded to EXOS in 2013), it serves elite athletes, military, corporate teams (employer-based on-site programmes), and community members. The company is a Certified Great Place to Work, led by CEO Sarah Robb O'Hagan (former president of Equinox and Gatorade) with Chief People Officer Greg Hill and SVP Methodology Stefan Underwood.

Seven values anchor the culture: Humility, Responsibility, Tenacity, Respect, Continuous Improvement, One Team, Knowledge.

Where will I work?

Exos' corporate hub is at 2629 East Rose Garden Lane, Phoenix, AZ. Day-to-day, however, the team spans roles at corporate, on-site at client locations, and remote — "We offer remote and on-site positions in human resources, marketing, operations, and technology, and at our clients' community- and employer-based sites." Across 60+ sites globally, on-site teams figured out their own version of "You Do You" days — "It might not be Fridays… It could be Mondays, could be Wednesdays, or in many of their sites, they rotate so everybody's not off that day."

What is the Exos team like?

The 4,000+ team operates under the Readiness Culture Code — Exos' formal Work + Rest = Success operating framework. Employee Resource Groups include Womxn, BIPOC, The Dependables (caregivers/parents), and Love Wins (LGBTQ+). The company invests in coach-driven development with industry-leading networking opportunities. The DEI commitment is paired with monthly on-demand and live learning sessions from Exos experts and access to Exos certifications and CEUs.

Work-Life Balance

Exos' flagship work-life-balance offering is the Readiness Culture Code, a Wharton School of Business–validated framework anchored by four pillars: You Do You Fridays (a 4-day workweek where employees decide how to spend Friday — including taking it off), Daily Breaks (microbreaks), Improved Meetings, and Intentional Scheduling (task batching). Pilot results: 24-point productivity improvement (67% → 91% perceived effectiveness), 34-point burnout reduction (70% → 36%), Member NPS stayed at 71 (45 points above industry benchmark of 26), and the sales pipeline grew 211% YoY July–December. Parental leave runs to 12 weeks fully paid.
