Coinbase is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States and one of the most established crypto-financial platforms in the world. The company offers retail trading, institutional custody and prime brokerage, developer infrastructure, the Base L2 network, and the USDC stablecoin (with Circle).

Founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam, Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN) went public via direct listing in April 2021 and serves over 100M verified users globally.
