Built's stated mission is to "connect and simplify doing business in real estate." Its job postings describe "the AI-powered platform transforming the way real estate is financed, developed, and managed", which "began by fixing construction draw management for lenders" and has grown into an operating system for construction finance. The company says it is "a partner to more than 350 lenders, over 80,000 borrowers and owners, and thousands of contractors, powering 86,000 active projects valued at more than $300 billion."
The website organises the product into Construction Loan Administration (an AI Draw Agent, draw inspections, draws and budget management, risk mitigation), Deal Management (origination pipeline, underwriting, portfolio reporting), Construction Financials (budgets, invoices, lien waivers, compliance tracking) and lien waiver management and payments. It reports an AI trained on "$3T+ in real estate finance data" and integrations with Sage, Yardi and Procore. Of its AI Draw Agent it claims "2-5x capacity gains" and "up to 95% faster draw processing."

Built is Nashville-based, and its postings use several settings: "Nashville, TN (Onsite) or Remote", Nashville or New York City, a remote-USA role and one in Mendoza, Argentina. The careers page lists "flexible working hours and hybrid work options". Employees outside the Nashville area "are required to travel to our Nashville office at least twice per year for company gatherings, such as Connect Week."
What is the Built team like?
