What is Bluesight?
Bluesight says it exists "to simplify the top complexities of hospitals and pharmacies", turning "disparate and disconnected data into actionable insights and workflows." Its careers page calls its products "a suite of hospital intelligence solutions that optimize inventory and staff workflows, improve safety and compliance, and save money." The company timeline starts in 2011, when it was founded around KitCheck, an RFID solution for pharmacy kits, and adds ControlCheck (AI-powered drug diversion monitoring, 2017) and CostCheck (drug spend, 2020). Thoma Bravo announced a strategic growth investment in 2023 to support the acquisition of Medacist, Bluesight acquired Protenus in 2025, and it launched an AI platform called Prism in 2026. The careers page says it is "partnering with over 3,000 hospitals" and has "doubled our personnel in the past two years."
Where will I work?
Bluesight is a remote company: its benefits list says "Fully Remote", and all eight open roles are listed as "Full Time – Remote – In-person meeting attendance required." The postings are "open to applicants in the continental United States", and the Implementation Specialist role is marked "TRAVEL REQUIRED". The benefits also include "Local Meetup, Team & Company Retreats", so some in-person time is built in.
What is the Bluesight team like?
The careers page says "Although we function in many ways like a startup – iterating quickly and prioritizing customer feedback – Bluesight is steadily growing". Its five values are Honor the Customer, Redefine Possible, Get Stuff Done, Join Forces and Have Fun, and the last one reads "We spend almost half our waking hours at work. So we value FUN!" The Join Forces value adds "We fight for our ideas without making it personal, and own decisions and outcomes together." The open roles are mostly commercial and customer-facing: Customer Success, Renewals, Account Executive, Implementation and Data Analyst, plus a Director of Clinical Strategy for the compliance products.
Work-Life Balance
The careers page lists "Unlimited Vacation" first among its benefits, and all eight postings carry "Time off when you need it – unlimited vacation days!" None of them states a minimum or a typical number of days taken, so ask in interviews how much leave people actually use. Other time-related benefits are "Paid Parental Leave" and a "Monthly Health & Wellness Stipend".
