About Blockchain.com
What is Blockchain.com?
Blockchain.com describes its mission on the about page as "Global crypto infrastructure for people, institutions, and AI". The same page counts "95M+ Wallets created", "$1.2T+ Volume moved through our platform" and "20+ Products across all market segments", and dates the work to 2011. Wikipedia explains that the company began as Blockchain.info, which "was established by Ben Reeves in 2011", and that it has grown from a bitcoin explorer and wallet into a brokerage, an institutional business, lending, and (since 2026) prediction-market products; two London adverts describe "crypto savings and crypto-backed lending" as consumer products. Wikipedia also reports that "In May 2026, Blockchain.com confidentially filed for an initial public offering with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)". It is a crypto financial-services company, so roles span engineering, compliance, trading, consumer product, marketing and wealth management.
Where will I work?
The work is office-based and hybrid. Almost every advert requires a "mandatory in-office presence" of four office days each week, for example "Role based in our London office, with a mandatory in-office presence" and, for Malta, "Hybrid role based in our Malta office, with a mandatory in-office presence". Thirty-four of the 41 adverts (all the London, Paris, Singapore and Buenos Aires adverts and one New York advert) add "Work from Anywhere Policy: You can work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 20 days per year" in this or a close wording (the Malta adverts do not mention it), one Dallas advert allows "up to 4 weeks to work remotely from abroad", and two of the three New York adverts say "Hybrid model (remote & on-site setup is mandatory)". On 6 November 2026 the Greenhouse board held 41 live adverts: London 21, Buenos Aires 5, Paris 4, Singapore 3, Malta 3, New York 3 and Dallas 2. A company blog post says it was "Founded in York in 2011, with its global headquarters now in London", and Wikipedia says that "In 2025, Blockchain.com made Dallas, Texas its United States headquarters". This profile counts the 35 adverts that state unlimited vacation: London 21, Paris 4, New York 3, Malta 3, Singapore 3 and Dallas 1. The five Buenos Aires adverts and one Dallas advert use a different perks block that does not mention it.
What is the Blockchain.com team like?
The careers page says "We take our work seriously, relentlessly pursue excellence, and have fun doing hard things together", and lists core values of "relentless problem solving, building like an owner, being a team player, communicating with candor, and embracing an infinite mindset". It also says "Remember: we’re a startup, first and last. Have a bias for action." Several adverts ask for "Comfort working in a hyper-fast, high-judgment environment where market conditions change daily". The live board mixes senior and specialist roles (a Chief Information Security Officer, heads of consumer operations and institutional marketing, quantitative traders, compliance and MLRO roles in Malta, engineers in London and Paris) with entry-level ones such as a Junior Team Assistant in the CEO Office. The about page says the board and management team "have over 200 years of combined experience".
Work-Life Balance
The perks line in 33 of the 41 adverts reads "Unlimited vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it.", two more say "Unlimited vacation policy—work hard and take the time you need to recharge." and "Unlimited vacation policy to maintain work-life balance.", and the careers page lists "Unlimited Vacation" among its benefits, next to "Paid Family Leave" and "Hybrid Working". No number of days or public-holiday terms are stated. The adverts also say "Flexible work culture" (bare wording, no hours stated) and require four office days a week. The company's own words set a high-intensity tone ("relentlessly pursue excellence", "hyper-fast"), and the vacation line itself pairs the freedom with "work hard". Glassdoor and Indeed both answered with security blocks on 6 November 2026, so there is no verified review score or long-hours check here.
