What is Arize AI?
Arize AI makes software for AI engineering teams: an AI observability and evaluation platform for building, testing and monitoring AI applications and agents. Its adverts call it "the leading AI & Agent Engineering observability and evaluation platform". Three marketing adverts name two platforms, Arize AX, "our managed platform for AI observability and evaluations", and Phoenix, "our open-source platform built for AI engineers". The adverts say Arize serves "a rapidly growing customer base of 150+ leading enterprises and Fortune 500 companies" and name Booking.com, Uber, Siemens and PepsiCo among its customers.
Arize says it was founded in 2020. Dynatrace's release of 1 October 2026 says that Arize is headquartered in San Francisco, CA and that Dynatrace "has completed its acquisition of Arize". The deal was announced on 13 August 2026 as a cash and stock transaction valued at $915 million, and Dynatrace says Arize will continue supporting both Phoenix and AX. So, as of the read date of 7 November 2026, Arize is part of Dynatrace (NYSE: DT). None of the Arize careers, about and press pages, and none of the 27 live adverts, mentions Dynatrace yet.
Where will I work?
Arize describes itself as remote-first: "While we are a remote-first company, we have opened offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, as an option for those in those cities who wish to work in-person. For all other employees, there is a WFH monthly stipend to pay for co-working spaces." On 7 November 2026 the company's Greenhouse board listed 27 live adverts: 21 in the United States (San Francisco, New York, Boston, the West Coast or US-wide remote) and one each in Singapore, Buenos Aires (Argentina), Korea and the EMEA region, plus a Middle East account executive role whose advert says the company is "prioritizing candidates based in the UAE or Saudi Arabia" and a Talent Community form with no location.
Many adverts tie the role to a place even though the company is remote-first. The Singapore advert says "the nature of this role requires candidates to be based in the Singapore area", and the New York account executive advert says the company is "prioritizing candidates currently based in the New York City metro area/EST time zone". No page says that Arize hires anywhere in the world.
What is the Arize AI team like?
The careers page describes the culture this way: "We are outsiders and risk-takers—people who challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and turn bold ideas into reality." The about page lists three values: "Do > Say" (building rather than talking), "N+1" (continuous improvement) and "Bring Solutions" (own the problem you spot). It shows 214 team profile cards on 7 November 2026, from the co-founders Jason Lopatecki (CEO) and Aparna Dhinakaran (CPO) to engineers, solutions architects, account executives and recruiters; two cards are labelled contractors and one an intern.
The live roles are mostly commercial and customer-facing: 7 Sales, 5 Solutions Engineering and 2 Sales Engineering, plus 3 Marketing, 3 Engineering, 2 Applied AI, 2 Product and 2 On-Prem adverts. The adverts add that "We have an active Lady Arizers subgroup" and that staff regularly chat with industry experts, researchers and ethicists about responsible AI.
Work-Life Balance
Arize states time off in two ways. The careers page and the about page list an "Open vacation policy", and 24 of the 27 live adverts, across eight functions, say total compensation includes "unlimited paid time off". The about page also lists "Wellness days", "Sabbatical leave after 4-year tenure" and "Parental leave & coverage at 100% of salary". No page or advert gives a number of days, a minimum, working hours or core hours, so the policy is open-ended rather than measurable.
Three adverts do not repeat the line. The Singapore and Buenos Aires adverts say instead that "Benefits, employment terms, and statutory offerings vary by country", and the Talent Community form says "generous paid time off". The adverts also use pace language: nine of the 27 say "fast-paced" and five of the seven account executive adverts want someone "Hungry, aggressive and motivated". No work-life review score could be read, because Glassdoor blocked the check on 7 November 2026.
