What is Amplitude?
Amplitude is a publicly-traded digital analytics platform (NASDAQ: AMPL) that helps product, marketing, and growth teams understand customer behavior in their digital products. Founded in 2012 by Spenser Skates, Curtis Liu, and Jeffrey Wang, it IPO'd on the Nasdaq in 2021. The platform now serves 26 of the Fortune 100 and processes trillions of behavioral events per month.
Where will I work?
San Francisco HQ anchors most engineering and product roles. Amplitude also has offices in New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Sydney, and São Paulo, with explicit "Remote - USA", "Remote - Germany", and "Remote - UK" listings on most JDs. Most roles are hybrid with team-level office expectations.
What is the Amplitude team like?
Largely SF-anchored (32 of 55 current openings sit in SF) with growing global hubs. Engineering, product, sales, customer success, and marketing are the main functions; the company culture is data-first and emphasises customer-obsession.
Work-Life Balance
Amplitude sits in our Unlimited PTO category. Every US JD on the Greenhouse board carries the Washington pay-transparency disclosure block, which states it verbatim:
"For individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans..."
The disclosure is legally-binding under Washington state pay-transparency law — Amplitude can't claim "unlimited PTO" on JDs if it isn't the actual policy. The benefit applies to US salaried staff company-wide; the "Washington only" wording refers to the disclosure jurisdiction, not the policy scope. International cohorts (UK, Germany, Singapore, Brazil, Australia) get country-specific PTO entitlements aligned to local norms.
