About Adobe

What is Adobe?

Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ: ADBE) is an American multinational software company founded in December 1982 by John Warnock and Charles Geschke. Adobe makes the world's most widely used creative and digital experience software — Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Lightroom, Acrobat / PDF, Adobe Express, Firefly (generative AI), Substance 3D, plus the Adobe Experience Cloud platform for digital marketing, analytics and commerce.

Where will I work?

Adobe is headquartered in San Jose, California (345 Park Avenue), with major US offices in San Francisco, Seattle, Lehi (Utah), Austin, McLean (Virginia) and New York. International offices in Bangalore + Noida (India), Dublin (Ireland — EMEA HQ), London, Paris, Hamburg, Munich, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and elsewhere. Most office-based roles are hybrid (3 days in / 2 remote).

What is the team like?

Around 31,000 employees globally across product, engineering, design, research, machine learning, finance, sales, marketing, customer success, partnerships, legal and corporate functions. Adobe has long been recognised as a top US employer for benefits and wellbeing — consistently in Fortune's 100 Best Companies, Great Place to Work, and CNBC top-companies-for-parents.

Work-Life Balance — Parental Leave (the headline benefit)

Adobe offers among the most generous parental-leave policies in US tech: 26 weeks of fully paid leave for the primary caregiver (10 weeks medical leave + 16 weeks parental bonding leave), and 16 weeks of fully paid parental bonding leave for the secondary caregiver. The 16 weeks for secondary caregivers can be split into two 8-week blocks for flexibility. Every parent — biological, adoptive or via surrogacy — is eligible for the full bonding leave, and both parents can take leave concurrently. The medical-leave component is birthing-parent-only (recovery from childbirth). The policy is a notable industry leader at the 26/16 split, which both clears the US ≥24/≥16 EXCELLENCE bar and represents a real top-quartile US tech offering.
