Adoption of a 4-day work week in Czechia has grown steadily since the 2022 UK pilot. We currently list 37 open roles at employers in or serving the region including Merck, DuckDuckGo, and ClickUp. Movement varies by sector — technology, consulting, and knowledge-work roles see the highest adoption rates, while customer-facing and operational roles tend to lag. Expand listings to see whether individual employers are local, hybrid-based, or remote-friendly across borders.

Employment law varies significantly by country and region. In Czechia, the core contract terms — full-time status, benefits eligibility, pension contributions — generally track working hours, so a genuine 4-day-week arrangement with full pay is usually treated identically to a 5-day role. For cross-border remote roles, local payroll, visa, and tax residency rules apply. Each listing on this page indicates the employer's location and remote-work policy; check the individual role for country-specific details before applying.

Notable employers with reduced-hours listings on this page include Merck, DuckDuckGo, and ClickUp. The mix spans local-founded companies, international firms with Czechia offices, and fully-remote employers that recruit from the region. The full list above also shows each company's specific schedule policy — some run a fixed 4-day week, others a 9-day fortnight or flexible-hours arrangement. Click any company name for their full profile and schedule policy details.

Salaries on 4dayweek.io are quoted at full value — the 4-day schedule doesn't reduce pay, so expect comparable ranges to traditional 5-day employers of similar size and sector in Czechia. Tech and engineering roles typically lead, with consulting and product roles close behind. Specific ranges vary by seniority and sub-industry. Expand individual listings above for exact figures or filter by salary band in the sidebar.

Many of the employers listed on this page accept remote applicants from Czechia, though each company sets its own policy on allowed countries and timezones. Filter by 'Remote' in the sidebar to narrow to fully-remote roles. For hybrid roles, the listing specifies the required office location and expected in-person days. Tax residency, payroll, and contractor-versus-employee arrangements are handled per-employer — check the listing or application for details.
