Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the software engineering team, promoting technical and professional growth.
- Define priorities and ensure alignment between business objectives, product roadmap, and team delivery capacity.
- Monitor performance, productivity, quality, and system stability indicators.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, acting proactively to ensure the success of deliveries.
- Promote best practices in development, architecture, quality, security, and observability.
- Work together with Product, Business, and Technology leadership in the definition and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and evolution of the systems under your responsibility.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical areas, ensuring clarity and alignment among stakeholders.
- Conduct feedback processes, performance evaluations, individual development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
The environment requires rapid adaptation to change, leadership skills, and strong communication with multidisciplinary areas.
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge
-
Previous experience in leading software engineering teams.

Solid foundation in software development and system architecture, with mastery of backend concepts (Python and/or Golang).

Knowledge of frontend web development with React and applications with Flutter.

Familiarity with integration patterns and Backend for Frontend (BFF) layers, APIs, and service contracts.

Experience with AWS cloud and distributed systems architecture.

Experience with agile methodologies and project management.

Ability to make data-driven and indicator-based decisions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills.

Strategic vision and strong results orientation.

Preferred qualifications

Background in digital payments.

Experience in digital transformation and fast-paced growth environments.
