Project Details
Job Title: Web Search Results Quality Rater
Job Description: Evaluate displayed search results and send feedback to improve web search result quality (tasks are primarily in Japanese, but some evaluation content will be in English). Tasks are not assigned; you log into the tool at your convenience during your free time and complete tasks at your own pace. You are responsible for managing how many hours you work per week. Completed tasks are recorded in the evaluation tool, and payment is sent based on that record.
Work Location: Remote work (must be residing in Japan)
Working Hours: 5–20 hours per week, flexible scheduling (busy and slow periods may occur)
Start Date: Immediately after registration
Employment Type: Freelance/Contract work
This is a freelance position that arises based on project demand. Please note that working hours may fluctuate week to week.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- High English proficiency
- Deep understanding of Japanese pop culture
- Not currently working as an "Ads Quality Rater" or without prior experience in this role (however, those who previously worked as a "Search Quality Rater/Japanese Search Quality Rater" or have taken a trial before may apply)
- Advanced knowledge of the web and ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
- Excellent online research skills
- Reliable computer system and stable internet connection
- Strong antivirus software (web searches will be conducted as part of the work)
- Ability to follow instructions in English and comply with client-specified rules and guidelines
- Signature of a non-disclosure agreement to protect client confidentiality
- Passing of language proficiency test, learning program, and client-specified quality test (conducted before starting work)

⑥ Onboarding and Start of Work: After identity verification (ID and tax information confirmation) is complete, you will be formally onboarded. You can set your own schedule and begin work.
